Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Vrolu. Short, readable, and written to be fair.
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Vrolu, operated by Vrolu LLC ("Vrolu", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What Vrolu is
Vrolu is a shared dashboard for coordinating group trips — flights, events, addresses, and reminders behind one invite-only link. Building a trip is free; publishing the shareable link is a paid action (see Payments below).
3. Your account
You must provide an accurate email and keep your account secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (and at least 13). Don't impersonate others or add people's information to a trip without a legitimate reason to do so.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Vrolu to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, harass anyone, attempt to access data you're not authorized to see, or disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
5. Payments
Publishing a trip costs a one-time fee — $19.99 during the launch promotion and $24.99 standard — charged through Stripe. It is not a subscription, and there is no per-traveler charge. A published trip stays live for the duration of the trip. Prices may change, but a change never affects a trip you've already paid to publish.
6. Refunds
We don't have a self-serve refund tool yet. If the product broke for you, your trip got cancelled, or you were charged by mistake, email support@vrolu.com and we'll work it out. We handle refunds reasonably and in good faith.
7. Flight data & accuracy
Flight status is sourced from third parties (currently FlightAware) and is provided on a best-effort, near-real-time basis. It can be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable — especially for small regional or charter carriers. Do not rely on Vrolu as your sole source for time-critical decisions. Always confirm gates, times, and status with your airline and the airport.
8. Service "as is"
We work hard to keep Vrolu accurate and available, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that flight data will be complete or accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vrolu is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for missed flights, connections, events, or reservations arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the trip at issue in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes
We may update the service and these Terms over time. When we make material changes we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use Vrolu after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
